All supplies are provided for you to make one-of-a-kind cards to send to friends or family. Please call to reserve a spot, 815-747-3052. Are you interested in embroidery? See a demonstration by Tri-State Needle Arts, a Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America on Saturday, February 18th. They will be here from 10:00am to 11:00am. Adult/Teen craft night will be held on Thursday, March 15th at 6:30PM. This month they will be making purses out of books. Bring your favorite old book or use the supplies and books provided. Reservations are required, 815-747-3052. Every Tuesday after school, the library has hands on crafts for pre-teens and younger. Drop in at 4:00PM. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss. Celebrate with us on Friday, March 2nd with cake, table top crafts and activities and prizes. Adults, need a relaxing night away? Tuesday, March 6th at 6:30PM, Lin Shultz, an independent beauty consultant will have you relaxing and rejuvenating at the library spa. Registration is required. 815-747-3052. Saturday, March 17th from 10am to 2pm, the Humane Society will be on hand at the library with 2 cute pets. Learn about the adoption process and what animals are looking for a home at this adoption event. Children receive a free dog and doghouse toy while supplies last. The East Dubuque District Library holds Toddler Time every Friday morning at 10:30am. You may drop in. Program is fast paced with music, movement, stories and crafts.
