Subject: [Newchildren] upcoming free library events

Join the East Dubuque District Library for Spring Fling, Wednesday, April
13th. Spring craft activities all day long.  Sit on a picnic blanket and
have mini hot dogs, chips and punch. A special toddler story time with a
live, pet bunny will be at 10:30AM. At 7:00PM, Jack Frick, head of the
Arboretum in Dubuque will present a gardening program that will include
organic gardening, the best flowers to plant for our area and more.

 

Saturday, June 4th the library will hold a mini-Renaissance Fair to kick off
the annual summer reading program, A Midsummer Night's Read. Roam around
with princes and princesses, learn to become a lady in waiting or a knight
and take part in a joust! Events will take place from 10:00AM until 2:00PM.

 

March is National Quilt Month. Quilts from local quilters are on display all
month long.
